Beauty for Ashes – The Oil of Gladness

May 2nd 2021 - It is God's plan that we have a full and fruitful life but it is difficult to do so if we don't abide in the anointing of Christ's spirit.   Why is it then when we are in the midst of struggle, instead of seeking God, we seek to overcome the challenges using something of this world.  It is hard when we are young.   It becomes harder as we grow older unless early and often we instill in our daily lives the discipline to spend time in scripture (God's Word) and time in prayer (Converse with God).    Once we give ourselves fully to the blessing that was paid for through Christ's death, burial and resurrection, we begin to live a new life and the struggles, while they may still be there, become easier to overcome. Isaiah 61:1-4
