August 15th, 2021 – It is common for us to come to terms with our relationship on God because faith requires belief in things unseen, and as fleshly beings, we require more.   We like to categorize and compartmentalize things on our terms not always because it is easy, but because that’s all we know.   Faith requires a greater strength than that.  It requires placing an emphasis on Biblical truths and not things of this world.  Paul admonished the early church for this very thing.  Even then, the discipline that was required to follow faith meant that you have leave the things of this world and it always been a difficult thing to do.  But remember, the things this world values, its civility, and definitions of right and wrong change often.   Biblical truths never alter and never change.   We just chose to either ignore certain parts or completely reinterpret others.   When we start living in truth, we can finally leave our old selves behind and be renewed.
