March 1st, 2020 – In a new series, ‘Character Under Construction’, Pastor Jonathan explores how we can live a better life given the knowledge and truth of what Christ has done for us.

In today’s scripture, Peter admonishes the early church about about not fully building on the gift they had been given. God came to earth to walk amongst us in the person of Christ Jesus.   Knowing what was about to befall Him, he never diverged from the righteousness that He was here to exemplify and leave for us everything we need.   But have we taken this gift and built upon it to be fully transformed as powerful witnesses for Jesus?  Sure, we’ve been chosen, received and accepted the invitation to life after this but are we doing anything else with what we’ve been given?   Are we choosing to live a new life free from a corrupt world to embrace the promise given to us from God.  Are we living our life fully?
