Oct 17th, 2021 – Jesus made it very clear that there are going to be two types of people.  Those that accept him and those that reject him.   The ones that accept him may losing friends, family, jobs, stature in the community, etc. but will gain everlasting life. It is important to note that in today’s scripture, referencing the blind man who Christ healed, while he gained his eyesight, he was cast out of the temple.   What we lose in following Christ is nothing compared to what we gain, what we are open to seeing, and what life after this one will bring us.  You may feel alone at times but God is always there and his presence in your life offers  a kind of peace that nothing on this world will every provide.
