The Children’s Crumbs

February 6th, 2022 - When we surrender our lives to Christ it is because we have faith in the promise of salvation.  But why does it stop there?  Why do we have difficulty living a Christ centered life without faith.  It's okay because even the disciples had Christ Himself walking with them, God in the flesh, and they still lacked faith.   How is it then that a gentile, a Phonetician woman amazed Christ with her faith.   Scripture tells us that faith is being certain of what you hope for and sure of what you do not see.  The woman in today's scripture was not a theological scholar in centuries of Jewish teaching.   All she knew was that her daughter was in trouble and this man could save her without even leaving His chair.   We must learn that whatever God leads us to do for His purpose, he will provide whatever we need.  We should never be afraid of our limitations to step out on His behalf.
