August 9th, 2020 – In this month’s series, Pastor Jonathan challenges the church to embody the spiritual gifts that have been bestowed upon us to serve.  Just like in the early church, today we are equipped to do the work God has designed us for and it is our choice to walk in those gifts or choose to ignore them.   Paul admonishes Timothy to remember the gifts he has and ‘kindle afresh’ those things that God has given him.   For the church to wake up and be a light in the darkness of the world, we can’t just sit back and wait for it to happen.  Remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear or timidity.  God has given us the tools to boldly proclaim the good news.  Let’s use them!
