May 10th, 2020 – In today’s sermon, Pastor Jonathan asks us to really understand the ‘who’ of Jesus.  When we understand that there are two kingdoms, one of darkness and one of light, we also must acknowledge with great joy that we can be transferred from a place of being enslaved by sin to a place where you are free.   That transference doesn’t happen without the person of Jesus Christ, who is the image of God.  There’s nothing else like Him.  So then, when we our enjoying the peace of freedom, it should be natural that we would want to celebrate the chain breaker by creating a lasting reflection of Him in our life.   Do not let the deity of Jesus, who ‘by all things are created’ intimidate you through a feeling of unworthiness.  Know that he demonstrated again and again a life of servitude.   Deepen your relationship with Jesus by understanding the King of Kings is accessible to even the worst of us.  That the first made Himself the last, to save all of us.  Especially you.   He’s knocking. Let Him in.
