November 15th, 2020 – Thanksgiving is the language of faith and the language of humility.   When we give thanks, we are acknowledging that we have received blessings from God we probably didn’t deserve (humility) and also demonstrate our patience in God when we pray (faith).  Thanksgiving is about much more than looking around you and saying ‘that was a good year’.   But also looking around and seeing God has been present in our lives.   We have had a dialogue with God through prayer and we see that we have received blessings from Him.   Sometimes not always exactly what we pray for.  Many of us have this year have through trials and tribulations.   But when believe in Jesus and trust in Him, then he changes our hearts.   Daily remaking us and in the process carrying us through the struggles we face.    It is okay.   Ask and you will receive.
