Weathering the Storm Part 2

July 19th, 2020 - Pastor Jonathan explores the life of Job and the suffering he endured while maintaining his constant devotion to to God.  By all accounts, Job's life was successful.  He had a large family, friends, land and many possessions.   Then, it was all gone.  While his friends and even his wife implore him to renounce God, Job maintained his steadfast love for God.   Job did express anguish, depression and anger.  But he maintained his faith.   Like Job, we come into this world with nothing and we will leave it with nothing.  But from beginning to end, the constant in our lives is the presence of God.   Tumultuous times create fear.  But God, through Christ Jesus, creates hope and gives you a place to lay your burdens.   There will always be storms.  But resist the evil one's attempts to distract you.   Distracting you from the hope that we all need. Job 1:11-33
