February 27th, 2022 – When Christ was crucified, dead, buried and resurrection, he did more than just removing our sins. He opened a door that was closed. When the Israelites wandered in the desert, only the Levitical priests were allowed to attend to the needs of the Tent of Meeting or the Tabernacle that permitted God to speak to Moses. Second to Moses, the priests had a very important job during this time. In today’s scripture, Pastor Jonathan reminds us that after Christ was resurrected, He told the early disciples that He would return. In the meantime, He gave us the power to be priests. We are ministers. While our church leader as a Pastor provides us leadership in ministering to others, we are just as responsible and should get out there and do it. Opportunities to minister and teach people about the love of God can happen anywhere. And it may not always be in church. It can be in a coffee shop or at work, but wherever it may be, Jesus desires us to tell others about Him. He is coming soon so there’s no better time than the present.
