Governing Authorities

Oct 22nd, 2023 -  In this country, our laws mirror that of God’s Law.  Some of the most egregious crimes committed suffer some of the harshest penalties.  Authorities are in place to enforce our country’s laws and should be honored and recognized for that effort. God has ordained them to be in the position they are in, and as such, according to scripture, God uses them to avenge those who are wronged.  Because of this, it is not our place to take vengeance on our own accord.  But the authorities should be held as accountable as those whom they protect and serve.  And should be lifted in prayer often. Romans 13:1-6
