Newness of the Spirit

July 9th, 2023 - The law teaches us what sin is. With the law we are dead in sin. But with Christ we are no longer in the law. While the law still defines what sin is, we are no longer bound by to it which leads to our demise because we cannot attain our heavenly reward through works. God did that for us through the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ Jesus who was God in the flesh. Christ was sent to us to be the fulfillment of the law. In Him, we are complete. Romans 7:4-6
