When Abraham was asked to do the impossible by sacrificing his son, he was fully obedient not because of blind trust. It is because he knew that no matter what God asked Abraham to do, He had already promised that Isaac would be the father of many nations. He wasn’t sure how Isaac would be redeemed he just knew that God keeps his promises and no harm would come to his son.
