April 18th, 2021 – There are a lot of people in this world that want us to follow them.   They purport to have the answers.  They feed us the knowledge that we want but not necessarily need.   The scripture is clear that we have to be careful about adhering to the teachings and direction of those who would seek to do us harm through falsifying that which is good.   How do we exercise the discernment we need to avoid the traps and pitfalls that could lead us away from light and into darkness.  We do this through constant study of the Scripture,  staying close to Christ through His teachings.   Like today’s scripture says, we will learn to hear to His voice through the noise of our daily lives and be drawn to him so that our lives will be filled with abundance.   Nothing this world can offer us will ever match the gift that Christ gives us.
