Feb 24, 2020 – Continuing in the series about relationships, Pastor Jonathan explains that while we are not perfect in ourselves, there is such a thing as a perfect marriage depending on your definition of perfection.   In Ephesian’s, Pastor Jonathan points out that Paul is instructing the church to treat each other better than ourselves, not necessarily abdicating our individual abilities as lesser but respecting the other person as the most important part of the relationship.  Without that other person, there is no relationship so it matters that each person sees the other as greater than themselves given to their gifts and abilities.   In this way, we subjugate ourselves to Christ not because He sees us as lesser, but because being in Christ we are better for it and fulfill the desires of God that not a single person be lost and apart from Him.

Ephesians 5:21-33
